I got my first glimpse that this movie would be attrocious when my buddy from work Steve came out and said "it's alright." I don't think there's been a movie Steve has seen that he hasn't said "I liked it" and will say why he liked it for an hour if you'll permit him. This movie was "alright" and that was all. Poor guy can't seem to find it in him to dislike something. He'll find the gold in any camp counselor.

I'm sort of perplexed now because Tom raises a good point. I adore slasher films yet I can't really name a slasher movie with any sort of quality to it, unless maybe if you're one of those weirdos who calls Psycho a slasher movie. I think the only one that comes to mind would be the original Black Christmas because it truely was the first slasher film and is one of my favorites. Most things you see in Halloween were taken from Black Christmas. Black Christmas was just never seen. Fun fact, same director made A Christmas Story.

I'll still see Friday the 13th. I need to see just how bad they did it. All I know it can't be as bad as the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (which for me was only watchable for R. Lee Ermey) and I can bet will probably be better than this sequal Rob Zombie's raping of Halloween. Yeah...Mr. Zombie sir...you DO know that you shot him in the face at the end of the first movie right? And you do know your whole "purpose" for this remake was to remove the supernatural elements from the character...yeah...
